About Jennifer M. Barge

Jennifer M. Barge has been a leader in health and beauty for over 35 years starting when she was 17 and has worked in the transgender community for 20+ years. Not only is Jennifer an award winning makeup and hair artist she is also a talented photographer.
Jennifer has several awards including the “2010 Trinity Award of Excellence” for her work with the CDC, 1,000’s of medical facilities across the country and the Transgender community. She was monumental in bringing free health screenings to conferences starting in 2007 for the first time including Fantasia Fair, Southern Comfort Conference and IFGE to name a few.
Jennifer also helped coordinate over 145 LGBTQI/ Trans Health clinics across the country from 2009-2016.
The founder and Director of TransHealth Coordinators, Jennifer strived to educate mainstream medical professionals of the true needs of our community and that anthologizing us all into believing we all need surgical solutions to “fix” us is wrong.
Jennifer has spoken in congress, sat on several boards including the ACLU-NC Transgender Advisory Board, the Southern Comfort Board of Directors and is a former director of The Robert Eads Health Imitative.
In 2016 Jennifer Barge closed the doors of TransHealth Coordinators because she achieved the goals that she set in 2006 for that organization and thought it best to allow the next generation step up.
Jennifer’s focus is now on doing what she loves best; offering her talent to help others be their best!
Jennifer says “I am sensitive to the true needs of my clients; I appreciate the Cross-Dressing community, rather than simply profiting from them. I have traveled from coast to coast to prepare people from all walks of life for those special moments in their lives. And in 2020 I will continue my quest by making it easier for me to access them with JMB on the Go!”
